Buon afternoon, as my gal friend, Paula is out discovering the cherry blossoms in bloom in our Sunset neighborhood, I am at home in my home office: a place, I have fashioned after a favorite childhood past time, of imagining my living room, to be the interior of Han Solo’s Millinium Falcon. I call it something like, my ‘Han Solo-Beastie Boys’ creative cockpit; and a pair of Pop tarts are never far, and keepin’ the Illy coffee coming.
Today, I have set forth a 2nd Tokyo book project, this one being more of a designer’s sketch of my photo junket experience after traveling to Tokyo so many times. It was such an inspiration for coming up with my photographic and travel style. Creating a photo book of purely the photos, has been a good way of getting started and of sharing the nuggets from those trips with other cool folks in my network.
But a more intensive work-over, using all of the creative arts material I’ve amassed over the years, I think is a better way to help the reader understand and grasp the adventures that happened there. And hopefully set the tone for further travel in Nippon, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Mongolia & Taiwan. At first with my new life-partner, Miss Paula Mak, and potentially later, as a consultant to photographers, food professionals and people who love to travel. I could see myself as a tour guide and consultant, in this manor.
Please enjoy the rest of your weekend, before Taxes are due. Ja mata! eh, ciao for now~

she asked me if we could grow our own Japanese Sakura, cherry blossom tree in our back yard one day. I think we could do that PM 😉
