Texas Galleries & The Process of Creation

The Lone Star State offers photographers a plethora of opportunities to create and capture beautiful Texas landscape images. I spend quite a bit of time out in the field, photographing landscapes of Texas, always seeking to create a great photo composition. The more I travel and photograph the Texas landscape, the more I appreciate how geographically diverse the state is.

Images were taken with a Sony Alpha A7 IV or C. Finding and creating a composition at the proper time with all the right elements takes a significant amount of time. Once an image is taken, the image is generally, but not always, focused-stacked. The composition is then enhanced by removing unwanted objects and artifacts. Once complete, the images are at a native 300 ppi, and will go through a super resolution process for prints beyond 72″.
